FAQ

  • The Chill Ride vest works on the principle of a heating floor. It is composed of a network of hydraulic tubes in which circulates a liquid at controlled temperature that will cool or warm your body.
  • It is the air conditioning module, installed under the top case, which manages the heating or cooling of the liquid before sending it into the vest.
  • Simply connect the vest to the air conditioning module with a quick hip connector to enjoy the first reversible air conditioning for bikers. Enjoy! 🙂

As a rule, the heating or cooling effect is felt after 1 to 2 minutes. The temperature stabilizes after 3 to 5 minutes. The time it takes for the system to warm up may vary depending on the conditions in which your motorcycle is parked (for example: parked in direct sunlight, the system is naturally hotter and will take longer to cool down). We advise you to start your vest as soon as you turn on your motorcycle, a few minutes before taking the road. This way you will enjoy the right temperature as soon as you get on your motorcycle.

For the vest: hand wash. Air dry. No spinning, no ironing!

For the air conditioning module :

  • Every 6 months, check the coolant level and top up if necessary. (1 minute).
  • Clean the vents regularly with a damp cloth to ensure proper cooling, especially if you are driving on dirty roads.
  • Grease the seals of the hydraulic connector with universal grease as soon as the movement is no longer smooth.
  •

The Chill Ride air conditioning module is compatible with Givi, Shad, Kappa, SW-Motech, BMW* (some BMW models may not be compatible yet). You have a doubt about the compatibility of your motorcycle or want us to develop a compatibility for your bike? Please contact us!

For each order, we ask you by e-mail for the details of your motorcycle and luggage to confirm the right compatibility. If we are not able to meet your needs at this time, we will refund your money without delay.

The vast majority of modern motorcycles over 500cm3 accept the Chill Ride without any problem.

To ensure that your battery will not be affected, ask your dealer about the power of your motorcycle's alternator. You must have a minimum of 120W of reserve power to operate your vest on the maximum level (or 170W for the boost mode).

The Chill Ride system is not yet approved for Offroad use. Offroad use will void the warranty.

The Chill Ride system does not yet allow you to connect two vests simultaneously. You can, however, take turns using it. You have the option of purchasing an additional vest if you need a different size.

The Chill Ride vest was designed with safety as the number one requirement! In the event of a fall, your vest will disengage from the connector. You will not remain attached to your motorcycle. In addition, the vest has only soft components that won't hurt you. Worn under your motorcycle jacket, there is no risk of the vest's hoses breaking through.
